From student feedback in July 2005:
About the teaching team:
The Staff are all amazing people and were able to give me something so individual from each of them. What a package!
“It went too quickly, was all fab!”
Brilliant- Their knowledge, commitment, enthusiasm and skill is awe inspiring. I have learned so much.
Energetic, enthusiastic, inspiring, knowledgeable, fascinating- great role models for living one’s truth.
The best bit about the college; they are energetic- inspiring- authentic- non hierarchical. We can see the effect of what they are teaching has on them- lovely people- good team- clear structure.
I think the variety of tutors on the core staff is excellent. Each one brings their own different vision and experience of homeopathy, enabling us to get broad and differing aspects- actually I feel that they bring a lot more than just homeopathy.
- They have such a wide range of teaching, most interesting and diverse- gives a better impression for us to develop our own styles as practitioners.
I cannot speak highly enough of the core teaching team. Their dedication and commitment speaks volumes and I thank them for their immense contributions to my understanding of homeopathy.

What students feel was the main thing they have gained from their training so far?
The discovery of who I am as an independent, unique practitioner. Courage and confidence to be my own truth.
The Lakeland College is the best homeopathy college in the whole world!
I have learned to pace my self and not feel overwhelmed by the volume of information (all fascinating) coming our way.
My experience has been one of release from shoulds and oughts and a freefall dive into creative expression with a tight knit “Lakeland allowance” safety net.
The ability to get to “the core” of a case to look beyond the obvious.
To look towards my own development and needs as a human being.
Patience with my self and others. I’ve got less bruises as I don’t beat myself up as much as I used to….
At the beginning of the year there was a spark and now there is a full blown fire of passion for Homeopathy and this is down largely to the tutors as their passion flows over into the classes.
The realisation that everything is energy- this has changed my concept of being and the world around.
The comfort of an environment where I can explore problems in my own life and heal them- amongst friends.
What I found amazingly empowering on our first weekend was when one of the tutors said You are all homeopaths already, we are just here on your journey with you, to remind you of everything you already know. Wow! Thanks very much for a great year.
Feeling enriched; expanding my horizons to take on so many new concepts/ philosophies/ ideas; being with like minded people being sure that I’m in the right place, doing the right thing. Growing personally.
Touched the ‘core’ of ‘who I am…..’ How can I say thank you for that?
A deeper understanding of mind & body, lots of remedy pictures and the confidence to prescribe them.
I have developed (and am still developing!) a much deeper understanding of health and what it is to be really alive.
A realisation of how the power of Homeopathy and the right intention can heal anything and anyone.
A realisation that the subject has so many facets, so much to learn and is so powerful. Feelings of fear and joy.
I have particularly enjoyed the anatomy and physiology and the way it is linked to the corresponding remedies.
and
Thank you for creating such a loving ‘family’ for us to be privileged to belong to.
